The YWCA of Yonkers is a Women's
Membership Movement to empower women and girls and eliminate
racism. The five program themes are: Empowerment, Youth
Development, Health Promotion, Community and Leadership, and Family
Life. The YWCA's vision for the new millennium is to provide
women with opportunities to be healthy, highly skilled, financially
capable, culturally aware, and able to balance the multiple roles of
family, career and social life.
