The meeting was called to order at 3:15 p.m.

 

MINUTES

Legislator Rogowsky made a motion to approve the minutes of November 19, 2002 and was seconded by Legislator Oros.  The vote was 4-0.

 

Receive & File

Legislator Rogowsky made a motion to receive and file Items # 52 & # 54 into the ‘Sewer Diversion’ Subfolder and was seconded by Legislator Oros.    The vote was 4-0.

 

ITEM # 50 – Sewer District Modification Request

Item # 50 is a request to enlarge the Town of Cortlandt-Peekskill Sanitary Sewer District: 3 Lockwood Rd., Cortlandt Manor.

 

Legislator Oros made a motion to approve and forward Item # 50 to the County Executive and other appropriate departments for further review and it was seconded by Legislator Rogowsky.  The vote was 4-0.

 

ITEM # 51– Sewer District Modification Request

Item # 51 is a request to enlarge the Town of Cortlandt-Peekskill Sanitary Sewer District: 78 Eton Lane, Cortlandt Manor.

 

There was a lengthy discussion regarding the fact that this was a large parcel and the possibility that it may be subdivided in the future and whether future construction or sewer hook-ups would be subjected to additional entry fees or approvals from the BOL.

 

The Members agreed to include this point in a letter to the County Executive.

Legislator Oros made a motion to approve and forward Item # 51 to the County Executive and other appropriate departments for further review and it was seconded by Legislator Rogowsky.  The vote was 4-0. 

 

Item # 53 – Sewer District Modification Request

Item # 53 is a request from the Town of Yorktown to incorporate four parcels from the Hunterbrook Sewer District into the Peekskill Sanitary

Sewer District.

 

The Members agreed to hold this item until further information was received from the Town.

 

Sewer District Modification Requests Update

Bill Randolph, at the request of this Committee, reported to the Members the status of several sewer district modification requests sent to the Administration some time ago.

 

The Health Department has completed its review of Items # 3, 11, 13, 17 & 19 (Town of Mount Pleasant) and disapproved three parcels for removal and additional information has been requested from the Town on two additional parcels.  In addition the Town Resolution must be returned for modification by the Town for parcels that will be disapproved.

 

The Health & DEF Departments have completed their review of Items # 14 & 16 and they have been forwarded to the Law & Planning Departments for legislation and SEQRA.

 

On motion of Legislator Oros, seconded by Legislator Rogowsky the meeting was adjourned at 4:00 p.m.
