The meeting was called to order at 3:07 p.m.

 

ITEM # 24

Item # 24 is a Resolution passed by the Town of Mount Pleasant requesting the removal of parcels located at 7 Rose Hill Road in Briarcliff Manor and 4 Leddy Lane in Pleasantville from the Saw Mill Sanitary Sewer District. 

 

Legislator Wishnie made a motion to approve and forward Item #24 to the County Executive and other appropriate departments for further review and it was seconded by Legislator Oros.  The vote was 4-0. (Rogowsky was out for the vote.)

 

ITEM # 25

Item #25 is a Resolution passed by the Town of Mamaroneck requesting

removal of certain properties from the Mamaroneck Sewer District. 

 

Legislator Oros made a motion to approve and forward Item #25 to the County Executive and other appropriate departments for further review and it was seconded by Legislator Ryan.  The vote was 5-0.

 

ITEM #26

Item # 26 is proposed Acts authorizing modifications to the Peekskill

Sanitary Sewer District (Town of Yorktown).

 

Legislator Oros made a motion to sign out the legislation for all purposes authorizing the addition of one hundred four (104) parcels to the Peekskill Sanitary Sewer District and was seconded by Legislator Wishnie.  The vote was 5-0.

ITEM # 10

Item #10 is petitions sent from the Town of Cortlandt requesting the return of eighty (80) parcels to be placed back into the Peekskill Sanitary Sewer District.  This item was referred to the Administration for further review on March 20, 2002.  Legislation authorizing this modification was received at the August 5, 2002 Board meeting.

 

There was a brief discussion on the Feasibility Report included in the legislation and how the return of said parcels will represent an increase of .02903 percent of the entire District’s valuation.  Commissioner Landi explained the formula used to pro-rate the charges that will be implied to the owners of said parcels.

 

Legislator Oros made a motion to sign out the legislation for all purposes authorizing the return of eighty (80) parcels to the Peekskill Sanitary Sewer District and was seconded by Legislator Wishnie.  The vote was 5-0. 

 

(This item needs to be signed out of the Committee on Budget & Appropriations also.)

 

On motion of Legislator Wishnie, seconded by Legislator Rogowsky the meeting was adjourned at 3:07 p.m.
