NEW MEMBERS
Legislator Pinto introduced Legislator Martin Rogowsky as the Committee’s newest member. Legislator Oros is also expected to become a member.
ITEM # 19
Item # 19 is a resolution from the Town of Mount Pleasant asking for parcels located on Cecilia Lane in Pleasantville and Todd Lane and Hardscrabble Road in Briarcliff Manor to be removed from the Saw Mill Sewer District.
Legislator Wishnie made a motion to approve and forward Item #19 to the County Executive and other appropriate departments for further review and it was seconded by Legislator Rogowsky. The vote was 4-0.
Legislator Rogowsky stated that 10 years ago he had asked Honorable Tim Carey if residents could be removed from their local sewer system and was told no. He is glad that residents can now request to be placed in or out of a sanitary sewer district.
BRP Project
Legislator Pinto informed the Members that he, along with Legislator Ryan, had been contacted by John Hsu, DPW, regarding another Bronx River Parkway Project that will involve repaving certain portions of the roadway. It has been requested that the Legislators hold community meetings to inform the residents of the project and to receive input.
On motion of Legislator Wishnie, seconded by Legislator Ryan, the meeting was adjourned at 4:34 p.m.
