DISCUSSION:

Chair Pinto called the meeting to order at 4:18 p.m.  The Bond Acts that were signed out on Monday, February 26th will be re-signed by the Committee.  After approval by the Public Works Committee, the Committee on Budget and Appropriations raised issues with regard that the package was lumped together and not entered as separate items.  Chair emphasized that Legislator Wishnie also commented on the way the items were packaged during the (02/26) meeting, and that all “lumped packages” be presented as separate items in the future.  The (9) Bonds Acts have been re-submitted to the Committee for re-signing purposes.  Bob Boland explained that the Bond Acts were reviewed and signed by the Committee on Budget and Appropriations during Monday’s meeting, but due to them being “bunched” by the County Executive’s office, they had to be separated and re-signed as separate documents by the Public Works Committee.
