Co-Chair Wishnie called the meeting to order at 2:20 p.m.

The minutes of March 24, 1997, were approved on the motion of Legislator Wishnie, second by Legislator Darcy; all in favor, none opposed, motion carried [4-0].

Item E: A petition from the Town Board of Yorktown regarding the removal of properties in the Peekskill Sanitary Sewer District. This petition requests removal of a number of properties from the District which are paying sewer tax without the benefits of sewers. On the motion of Legislator Darcy, seconded by Legislator Wishnie, the members agreed to forward this petition to the Administration so that the appropriate legislation can be prepared; motion carried [4-0].

Item H: A Resolution from the Peekskill City Council regarding the tax situation in the Peekskill Sanitary Sewer District (2/26/97). This is part of the on-going effort to rectify the tax situation in the sewer District. The resolution requests the removal of approximately twenty homes in the District which pay sewer taxes without the benefit of sewers. On the motion of Legislator Swanson, seconded by Legislator Wishnie, the members agreed to forward this petition to the Administration so that the appropriate legislation can be prepared; motion carried [4-0].

A letter will be sent to the County Executive requesting appropriate legislation for both items.

With no other business to discuss, the meeting adjourned at 2:45 p.m., on the motion of Legislator Swanson, seconded by Legislator Darcy; motion carried [4-0].
