(2/27/96) HON. SUZANNE SWANSON: Forwarding a letter from the Mayor and Recycling Coordinator from the Village of Elmsford regarding the costs of collection of recyclables and expenses of tolls to and from the MRF in Yonkers.
AGENDA REFERRALS
*A. (2/26/96) COUNTY EXECUTIVE: Proposed Act authorizing the county and the City of New York to enter into an IMA whereby the County would authorize the City to enter into certain County-owned easements in the Town of Mount Pleasant and perform certain repair work on the county sewer located between manholes 83W and 84W at Station 2+85. [3/4: Discussion]
B. (1/29/96) COUNTY EXECUTIVE: Proposed Act amending the Rules and Procedures which govern the Prequalification and Selection of Architects, Engineers and Land Surveyors as Consultants to Westchester County.
C. (1/29/96) COUNTY EXECUTIVE: Proposed Legislation abolishing the Department of Environmental Facilities and transferring the powers and duties to the Department of Public Works. [ALSO REFERRED TO THE COMMITTEE ON BUDGET & APPROPRIATIONS].
D. (1/29/96) LEGISLATORS LATIMER, BRONZ, CARSKY: Forwarding a copy of a letter from the Village Manager of Scarsdale to the Countys Commissioner of Public Works regarding the possibility of bringing the Villages leaves either to the White Plains or Yonkers Transfer Station. [2/26: Discussion with Village officials].
*E. (2/26/96) COUNTY EXECUTIVE: Proposed Act authorizing the County, acting on behalf of Refuse Disposal District #1, to enter into an IMA with the Villages of Croton-on-Hudson, Buchanan, Ossining and the Towns of Ossining, Yorktown and Cortlandt, to agree to continue consolidated deliveries of these municipalities recyclables to one location in return for 80% of the total reduction in cost to the District.
