The meeting was called to order at 2 p.m. by Legislator Swanson.

The members discussed the amendments of certain language used in the proposed Act amending the rules and procedures of the Prequalification Selection Board. The members suggested that an annual report should be received by the Board, as per the County Executive, this will not change, the Board will not be denied a copy of the report when the Administration receives it. Another suggestion was to have the Department of Public Works receive the report and forward it to both.

After a brief review of the draft legislation dated June 1996, the members agreed to leave all language as specified and discuss it further with Commissioner Landi at the next meeting.

Mrs. Swanson mentioned the next meeting will also included discussions with Commissioner Landi regarding Agenda Item G - renovations of the Low Rise Building and Courthouse renovations and the monies due for work completed.

Commissioner DeSantis will also be present at the October 28th meeting to discuss the Kensico Dam and County Center (Item L) parking facilities; Dunwoodie golf course (Item R) and the Nature Woods in New Rochelle as per Legislator Darcy’s request. Legislator Mosiello will be notified of this meeting in regard to Item R.

Legislator Swanson would like to have a representative from the College to discuss defraying the costs of the County Center parking through tuition fees.

With no further business to discuss the meeting adjourned at 2:40 p.m. on the motion of Legislator Latimer, seconded by Legislator Darcy.
