The meeting was called to order at 2:13 p.m.
Mr. Ryan said that DES Deputy Commissioner Chris Kozlow could not appear before the Committee today. Mr. Kozlow is in Washinton, DC meeting with officials of the Nuclear Regulatory Commission on the nuclear plants at Indian Point.
Mr. Ryan has asked the Administration to reschedule Mr. Kozlow for the Committee’s April15 meeting.
Minutes
The minutes of the Committee meetings of March 11 and March 18 were approved as amended, 5-0. The minutes of Committee’s joint meeting with the Environment/Health Committee held on March 21 were approved 5-0. The minutes of March 25, and April 1 were approved 5-0.

The members agreed that an invitation be extended to the

Commissioner of the New York City Department of Environmental Protection to appear before the Committee to discuss security issues involving the water supply: reservoirs, dams and other infrastructure.
The members also agreed that our discussions with Entergy Nuclear Northeast should resume. Entergy will be asked to appear before the Committee at its April 22 meeting.
With no further business to discuss, the meeting was adjourned at 2:30 p.m.
