Committee Chairs Darcy and Stewart-Cousins canceled the meeting due to the fact that a response was not received by the County Executive with regard to his intentions of the settlement of litigation between the County and EMSA Services at the Correction facility,

The County Attorney agreed with the Chairs decision, as well as the members present.

The Committee on Public Safety continued its joint hearing with the Committee on the Environment and representatives of the NYSDEC regarding the beach closings due to sewage spills.
