NEW APPOINTMENTS:
FIRE ADVISORY BOARD:
Albert Mignone was appointed to serve as a member of the Westchester County Fire Advisory Board for a term to expire on Dec. 31, 2004. Mr. Mignone is a resident of Purchase and is presently working at Marval Industries, Inc. as a Plant Manger. He is a member of the Purchase Fire Department and Harrison Volunteer Ambulance Corps. He is also a member of several Fire Services and EMS organization and is a certified EMT.
On motion by Mr. Pinto, seconded by Mrs. LaMotte, nomination of Mr. Mignone was approved. Vote 5-0.
Daniel Raftery was appointed to serve as a member of the Westchester County Fire Advisory Board for a term to expire on December 31, 2002. Mr. Raftery is a resident of Scarsdale and is Chief of the Greenville Fire District. He is also a member of NYS Association of Fire Chiefs, NYS Career Chiefs Association and Westchester county Career fire Chiefs Association.
On motion of Mr. Pinto, seconded by Mrs. Spreckman, nomination of Mr. Raftery was approved. Vote 5-0.
HISPANIC ADVISORY BOARD:
Cesar Ruiz was appointed as a member of the Hispanic Advisory Board for a term to expire on December 31, 2002. Mr. Ruiz is a resident of Port Chester and is the owner of Coffee Truck Business in Port Chester. He worked as a security guard for Pan American Investigations.
On motion of Mr. Pinto, seconded by Mrs. LaMotte, nomination of Mr. Ruiz was approved. Vote 5-0.
Yolanda Infante was appointed as a member of the Hispanic Advisory Board for a term to expire December 31, 2003. Ms. Infante is a resident of Buchanan. She is employed at Westchester Hispanic Coalition as Immigration Coordinator/Paralegal.
On motion of Mr. Pinto, seconded by Mrs. LaMotte, nomination of Ms. Infante was approved. Vote 5-0.
