COMMITTEE ON COUNTY OFFICERS & DEPARTMENTS

MONDAY, JULY 23, 2001

12:00 P.M.

 

 

PRESENT:  Chair:  LaMotte.  Members:  Latimer, Pinto, Spreckman, Stewart-Cousins, and Swanson.  Staff:  Schecter, Vita.

 

ALSO PRESENT:  Jeff Hanley, Ken Nilsen, Members of the Apartment Owners Advisory Council.

 

 

Mrs. LaMotte called the special meeting of COD to order at 12:10 p.m.

 

 

Mrs. LaMotte asked for a motion to move Resolutions recommending Eliot Cherson for the Owner Representative position, and Jane Morgenstern for the Public Member position on the Rent Guidelines Board.

 

 

By motion of Legislator Swanson, seconded by Legislator Pinto, the recommendations for both applicants were approved by a 6-0 vote.

 

 

 

With no other business to discuss, the Committee recessed until its regular meeting at 4:00 p.m.
