Frank Ramos: Is a resident of
Legislator Young said under direction and leadership of Mr. Ramos, the Mount Vernon Fire Department has become more visible in the community as well as in the schools, educating children and adults about fire prevention and safety. His unprecedented involvement is the source of a positive impact in the City.
On the motion of Legislator Young, seconded by Legislator Pinto, the appointment was approved by a 7-0 vote.
Ronald E. DeIulio: Is a lifelong resident of

Committee on
Mr. DeIulio is
currently employed as an EMT/Firefighter in the Lake Mohegan Fire
District. He has received several
meritorious citations, state certifications and a lifesaving award. He would like to contribute his opinion
relating to combination appointments in mixed departments as well as addressing
important safety issues. He is impressed
with the new dispatching equipment.
There are five houses in his district; all within a 5-minute call
time. This district serves
