The meeting was called to order at 4:00 p.m.
APPOINTMENTS:
Mr. Schear resides in Briarcliff and has attended meetings of the Housing Opportunity Commission. He is Executive Director of the Bridge Fund which is a homeless prevention program. They receive funds from private individuals, foundations and religious organizations. They have spent approximately $200,000 and saved the County approximately $6,000,000. His long range ideal is to get up every day and to help at least one person. He has been a housing advocate for 30 years, he founded the Housing Action Council. Fourteen years ago he sold his business.
Legislator Young made the motion to approve the resolution confirming the appointment of Stanley Schear as an At Large member of the Housing Opportunity Commission and was seconded by Legislator Stewart-Cousins. The motion was carried by a vote of 6-0.

Ms. Weiner, a resident of Croton-on-Hudson has been president of the Board of Directors of the YWCA of White Plains and Central Westchester. Her term ended in October 1999. She has attended several meetings of the Housing Opportunity Commission. Her resume is very impressive.
Legislator Stewart-Cousins made a motion to approve the resolution confirming the appointment of Elizabeth Shaw Weiner to District 1 of the Housing Opportunity Commission and was seconded by Legislator Young.
There was a concern about the appointment of Doris Schwartz and her appointment to the Community Services Board. She has missed 4 out of the last 5 meetings.
MINUTES:
Legislator Pinto made a motion to approve the minutes of October 18th and 25th and was seconded by Legislator Spreckman. The motion was carried by a vote of 6-0.
Legislator Young made a motion to adjourn the meeting at 4:35 p.m. and was seconded by Legislator Pinto. The motion was carried by a vote of 6-0.
