AIRPORT ADVISORY BOARD

Salvatore Crescenzi

Mr. Crescenzi moved to Rye Brook in the 1970’s.  He has attended 2 out of 3 meetings since his appointment.  Mr. Crescenzi was a Trustee for 3 years and Mayor for 10 years in the Village of Rye Brook.  Currently, he is the owner and manager of Crescenzi Bird Importers, Inc. and also works as a Project Superintendent with Spectrum Skansa.  As Mayor of Rye Brook he has been through such airport issues as the original “Master Plan” and Cap flights.  He feels he has a long history regarding the Westchester County Airport and believes cap and curfew concerns are very important.  Mr. Crescenzi wants the Airport to be a good neighbor but it feels it needs to be monitored.  His term is to expire December 31, 2001.

Legislator Pinto made a motion to approve the resolution confirming the appointment of Salvatore M. Crescenzi to an at-large seat of the Airport Advisory Board and was seconded by Legislator Stewart-Cousins.  The motion was carried by a vote of 4-0.
