The meeting was called to order at 4:13 p.m.

Legislator Pinto motioned to confirm the reappointments of Ernest Prince and Janet Johnson as members of the Local Conditional Release Commission, and was seconded by Legislator Spreckman. The motion was carried by a vote of 6-0.

Legislator Pinto motioned to approve the Minutes of June 1, 1998 and was seconded by Legislator Oros. The motion was carried by a vote of 6-0.

Chair Swanson reviewed a memo she sent to the Administration, which stated that, the Committee on County Officers and Departments is currently waiting for additional information and input from them on various agenda items.

There being no further business, Legislator Young motioned to adjourn the meeting at 4:25 p.m. and was seconded by Legislator Stewart-Cousins. The motion was carried by a vote of 6-0.
