Dr. Preziosos reviewed the recommendations line by line. The different categories that he had recommendations in were: County Government, Local Government, Public Safety: Police, Public Safety: Fire, Sharing, The Court System, Taxes, Assessments, and Exemptions, School Districts, Not-For- Profit Organizations, Quality of Life, and Consolidation. Dr. Prezioso also stated that Westchester 2000 was formalized back in 1986. The contract is up on January 1, 1999 at which time it will be determined if they should continue with it.

Chairman Latimer interjected that the Committee needs to identify a few initiatives, prioritize them, and possibly set up a citizen sub-committee. Then they could have a Committee of the whole meeting to bring all the Legislators in, so that everyone is on the same page.
