The meeting was called to order 1:12 pm.

 

MINUTES

Legislator Bronz made a motion to approve the minutes of March 28, 2000 and was seconded by Chair Young.  The motion was carried by a vote of 2-0.

 

Legislator Bronz made a motion to approve the minutes of April 25, 2000 and was seconded by Chair Young.  The motion was carried by a vote of 2-0.

 

BLUEPRINT

Legislator Bronz made a motion to adopt the Committee Blueprint, as amended, and was seconded by Chair Young.  The motion was carried by a vote of 2-0.

 

RECEIVE & FILE

Legislator Bronz made a motion to receive and file Item #1 (HON. GEORGE LATIMER: Forwarding a memorandum to the Committee on Legislation and Minority Affairs asking them to investigate all Federal plans to conduct the Year 2000 Census to insure that plans are in place for the most accurate possible count to occur within Westchester.) and was seconded by Chair Young.  The motion was carried by a vote of 2-0.

 

MLK Statue

Chair Young requested Legislator Bronz review drawings made by Mr. Sherrill.  Mr. Sherrill submitted three (3) draft sketches of the recommended changes to the statue discussed at the last Committee meeting.

After review, Legislator Bronz stated that the outstretched arm needed to be bent further and brought closer to the body. 

 

On motion from Legislator Bronz, the meeting was adjourned.
