The meeting which commenced at 7:00 PM was a public session held at Greenburgh Town Hall.

The issue that was discussed was the Early Intervention Program, Article 25 of the Public Health Law (Chapter 428 of N.Y. State Laws of 1992), and the proposed amendments to it. The Early Intervention Program reaches children at a crucial developmental state and are designed to detect and address handicapping conditions at the earliest age possible. The proposed amendments to this program would change the standards and procedures governing this program. The public session was held to both inform the public of the proposal as well as obtain the public’s views on this issue.

The session was audio and video taped.

The meeting adjourned at 9:35 PM.
