Others:                  Carl Finger (Counsel to Committee), Andrew Neuman (County Executive’s Office), Michael Carriere (District Council 9), Mary Lynn Nicolas (County Attorney’s Office)

1. Meeting called to order by Legislator Wishnie at 4:35 p.m.

2. Mary Lynn Nicolas of the County Attorney’s office discussed the changes made to the Apprenticeship Training Program legislation based on a work session she attended with Legislators Latimer and Wishnie and two union representatives.

3. Motion made to approve legislation and forward to the Committee on Legislation by Legislator Maisano and seconded by Legislator Kaplowitz.  All in favor – Aye.  Legislation was signed by all Committee Members, with Maisano and Kaplowitz signing without prejudice.

4. Motion made by Legislator Mosiello to accept minutes of September 9, 2002, seconded by Legislator Kaplowitz.  All in favor – Aye.

5. Legislator Maisano made a motion to adjourn.  Seconded by Legislator Kaplowitz.  Meeting adjourned at 4:50 p.m.
