The meeting commenced at 1:15 PM. The first item for discussion was the minutes of March 17, 1999. Mrs. Paulin moved to approve, seconded by Leg. Noto. All in favor [2-0].

Next the Task Force discussed its upcoming meetings and the possible guests to invite. The Task Force agreed on inviting Kenny Lau for next week and then to invite the new Group Coordinator for child sex abuse. The Task Force agreed to set the following meeting dates:

Next the Task Force discussed Child Support. Mrs. Paulin noted that a great job is being done and most of the Task Force’s recommendations are being implemented. Mrs. Paulin noted that she would like to help push the child support bill at the State level. She noted that a problem with this bill is that they are calling for full family sanctions and the more "liberal" groups will be opposed to it.

The final item for discussion was the topic emergency room equipment for kids. The Committee agreed to invite Norma Dreyfus to further learn about this topic. Leg. Noto moved to adjourn, seconded by Mrs. Paulin. All in favor [2-0]. The meeting ended at 1:30 PM.
