COMMITTEE ON THE ENVIRONMENT

COMMITTEE ON LEGISLATION

FEBRUARY 25, 1997 AT 3:30 P.M.

Also Present: Mrs. Keating and Ms. Heredia.

Items Discussed:

Chair Abinanti called the Legislation Meeting to order at 3:35 P.M.

Chair Carsky called the Environment meeting to order at 3:35 P.M. Chair Carsky explained the ISTEA resolution to all those present. Chair Carsky explained that New York State will be the biggest loser of all. Mass transit should be pushed.

On motion of Leg. Noto, seconded by Leg. Mosiello, the Committee on Legislation signed out the ISTEA Resolution 3-0.

On motion of Leg. LaMotte, seconded by Chair Carsky, the Environment Committee signed out the ISTEA Resolution 2-0.

On motion of Leg. LaMotte, seconded by Chair Carsky, the Environment Committee adjourned at 3:45 P.M.
