COMMITTEE ON ECONOMIC DEVELOPMENT
FEBRUARY 2, 2000
PRESENT: Chair Oros, Leg. Abinanti
ALSO PRESENT: Mrs. Keating, Mr. Philipidus
ITEMS DISCUSSED:
Chair Oros called the meeting to order at 2:50 P.M. On motion of Mr. Abinanti, seconded by Chair Oros, the quorum will be two and the Committee will meet on alternate Tuesdays at 3:30 p.m. sharing the time slot with the Education Committee. He also stated that the Committee would meet quarterly with the business community representatives yet to be selected.

Gross Receipts Tax
Small Businesses
Mr. Abinanti suggested that the Committee met outside the building with different municipalities and Chair Oros agreed.
On motion of Mr. Abinanti, seconded by Chair Oros, the meeting adjourned at 3:10 p.m.
