ALSO PRESENT: Commr. Langeloh, Mr. Stiller

 

ITEMS DISCUSSED:

On motion of Mr. Oros, seconded by Mrs. Spreckman the minutes of June 8, 1998.

Commr. Langeloh was in to discuss bus issues Policy is maximum idle time of 3 to 5 minutes. Don’t think it is a major problem at this site these are express buses to Manhattan.

Restoration of Bus 72 – Do a platform survey on the 72 What we might be able to do to add to another route. Ran a loop in Ardsley $150,000 annually for 1999 dollars. Route 66 runs the Ashford Corridor. During rush hour one bus to deviate up beacon hill that would cost $78,000 a year.

On motion of Leg. Bronz, seconded by Leg. Spreckman, Hon. Bronz’s communication regarding Bud idling was received and filed 4-0

On motion of Leg. Bronz, seconded by Leg. Young, Hon. Ryan’s Communication Birchwood Springs was received and filed 4-0

On motion of Leg. Young, seconded by Leg. Bronz, Hon. Latimer’s Communication on David’s Island Redevelopment was received and riled 4-0

On motion of Leg Bronz, seconded by Leg. Spreckman, Hon. Abinanti’s communications on Bus Route 72 were received and filed 4-0.

On motion of Leg. Young, seconded by Leg. Bronz, the meeting adjourned at 3:50 P.M.
