MINUTES COMMITTEE ON COMMUNITY AFFAIRS APRIL 28, 1997 1:00 P.M.
PRESENT: Chair Bronz, Legs: Spreckman and Stewart-Cousins
ALSO PRESENT: Mrs. Keating and Mr. Swee.
ITEMS DISCUSSED;
Chair Bronz called the meeting to order at 1:10 P.M. Chair Bronz stated that she attended last weeks Environment meeting but they were so busy discussing the Airport, that we were not able to discuss the joint referrals.
On motion of Leg. Stewart-Cousins, seconded by Leg. Spreckman, Item B regarding Rory OMoore Park was received and filed 3-0.
On motion of Leg. Spreckman, seconded by Leg. Stewart-Cousins, Item C regarding the Residents Recreation Preference Survey was received and filed 3-0.
On motion of Leg. Stewart-Cousins, seconded by Leg. Spreckman, Item D regarding the Light GA at the Airport was received and filed 3-0.
Item E regarding Sunday Service on Route 8. The Committee called Commr. Petrocelli and he will write the Committee an answer shortly.
On motion of Leg. Stewart-Cousins, seconded by Leg. Spreckman, Items F, G and H regarding Rory OMoore Park and CDBG were received and filed 3-0.

On motion of Leg. Spreckman, seconded by Leg. Stewart Cousins, Item L regarding the North Ridge Equestrian Center was received and filed 3-0.
Chair Bronz stated that she feels the Committee has addressed the Equestrian Center as best as we can. A new RFP will be issued very soon and the conditions at the Stable have improved. Chair Bronz will draft a letter for the Committees signature to come to closure with this matter.
On motion of Leg. Spreckman, seconded by Leg. Stewart-Cousins, items M, U and V regarding the Airport were received and filed 3-0.
On motion of Leg. Spreckman, seconded by Leg. Stewart-Cousins, the minutes of April 21, were approved 3-0.
Chair Bronz updated the Commitee on the meeting that she had this morning with the Housing Action Council.
The Commitee agreed to meet on May 5 and June 2. Mamaroneck asked for a public meeting and we may possibly do one in June. On June 20 the West. Municipal Planning Federation will have their dinner at the Yonkers Pier.
On motion of Leg. Stewart-Cousins, seconded by Leg. Spreckman, the meeting adjoured at 1:45 P.M.
