ITEMS DISCUSSED:

 

Co-Chair Swanson called the Budget Committee to order. Chair Bronz, called Community Affairs to order. Chair Carsky called the Environment Committee to order.

 

Chair Bronz explained the process and how we got to this point. She reviewed the history of our involvement, the information needed, assistance from the Planning Department and the Law Department on this matter.

 

Chair Bronz stated that the Committee finally received the correct coordinates on March 12 and asked the County Attorney to draft the appropriate legislation. That being done, the Yonkers Delegation asked the Chairman of the Board to hold a special meeting on this matter and that is why we are here today.

On motion of Leg. Stewart-Cousins, seconded by Leg. Spreckman, the Committee on Community Affairs signed out the legislation 4-0.

 

On motion of Co-Chair Wishnie, seconded by Co-Chair Swanson, the Budget Committee signed out the legislation 5-0.

 

On motion of Leg. Delfino, seconded by Leg. Oros, the Environment Committee signed out the legislation 4-0.

 

Chair Carsky and Co-Chair Wishnie both thanked Chair Bronz for all her efforts in helping this most difficult matter along.

 

Chair Bronz thanked all who participated and especially the staffs of the Planning Department and the Law Department for all their help.

 

On motion of Leg. Darcy, seconded by Co-Chair Swanson, the Budget Committee recessed until their 3:00 p.m. meeting

 

On motion of Leg. Stewart-Cousins, seconded by Leg. Spreckman, the Community Affairs Committee adjourned.

 

On motion of Leg. LaMotte, seconded by Leg. Latimer, the Environment Committee adjourned.
