Leg. Stewart-Cousins asked how residents from Yonkers get to the Medical Center or WCC on the weekends. Mr. Stiller explained that their is not one straight bus on the weekends, but they can take a bus from Getty Square that leaves every 15 minutes to White Plains - and it would be a matter of 5 - 10 minutes for them to connect with the 13, 14 or 15, which will take them there on the weekends.

Bus Shelters were discussed. Leg. Bronz brought up the shelters in downtown New Rochelle. The County does not own those, New Rochelle does, but everyone thinks that the County does and call us to complain. The County would like to change the shelters and have them under our control and maintenance. The County would also be willing to remit the revenue back to the Chamber of Commerce.

The Committee thanked the Commissioner for coming and on motion of Leg. Stewart-Cousins, seconded by Chair Bronz, Summer Bus Service changes were received and filed 2-0. Mr. Noto was out for the vote.

On motion of Leg. Stewart-Cousins, seconded by Chair Bronz, the meeting adjourned at 1:45 P.M.
