DISCUSSION:

MINUTES:

On motion of Legislator Darcy, seconded by Legislator Delfino, the motion to approve the Minutes of April 14, 1997 was carried by a vote of 5-0.

AGENDA ITEMS:

7. COUNTY EXECUTIVE: Proposed legislation to restore the project entitled County Road Rehabilitation Program to the original amount submitted with the 1997 Proposed Capital Budget. (2/26/96)

Mr. Wishnie explained that when this legislation first came to the BOL the Budget Committee cut the amount of it almost in half. Subsequently it was determined that due to the deteriorating condition of the roads, it would be better to get all of the work done in 1997. The County is prepared to do the work immediately and it will not impact the 1997 budget.

Mr. Darcy expressed his concern that he has previously requested a spread sheet from the Budget Department outlining when bonding projects will go out and when they will impact the County. To date he has not received this information.

On motion of Legislator LaMotte, seconded by Legislator Delfino, the motion to approve this item was carried by a vote of 5-0 with Legislators Delfino, Darcy and Swanson signing "Without Prejudice".
