COUNTY BOARD OF LEGISLATORS

DECEMBER 16, 2002

The County Board of Legislators met pursuant to adjournment.

The Honorable Lois Bronz in the Chair.

The Chair opened the meeting with the salute to our flag and an invocation.

The roll call resulted as follows:

Legislators:  Young, Alvarado, Latimer, Pinto, Rogowsky, Ryan, Stewart-Cousins, Swanson, Wishnie, Chair – 10.

Absent:  Legislators :  Oros, Abinanti, Kaplowitz, LaMotte, Maisano, Mosiello, Spreckman, - 7.

SPECIAL ORDER:  Home Rule Request:  RES ______-2002:  Requesting enactment of state legislation allowing the County to impose an additional 1% in sales tax.

The meeting was recessed by the Chair until 1:00 p.m. on December 17, 2002.

The meeting was reconvened at 1:00 p.m. on December 17, 2002.  The roll call resulted as follows:

Legislators:  Latimer, Rogowsky, Ryan, Chair – 4.

Absent:  Young, Oros, Abinanti, Alvarado, Kaplowitz, LaMotte, Maisano, Mosiello, Pinto, Spreckman, Stewart-Cousins, Swanson, Wishnie – 13.
