SPECIAL MEETING

COUNTYBOARD OF LEGISLATORS

MARCH 18, 2002

The CountyBoard of Legislators met in Special Session.

 

The Honorable Lois Bronz in the Chair.

 

The Chairman opened the meeting with the salute to our flag and an invocation.

 

The roll call resulted as follows:

 

Legislators:  Young, Oros, Abinanti, Alvarado, Hall, Kaplowitz, LaMotte, Latimer, Maisano, Mosiello, Pinto, Ryan, Stewart-Cousins, Swanson, Wishnie, Chair – 16.

 

Absent:  Legislator Spreckman – 1.

 

COMMITTEEON LEGISLATION:  RES 11-2002:  Requesting the State Legislature to introduce and sponsor a bill to permit the City of New Rochelle to convey the waterfront property known as DavidsIsland, together with a utility easement across Davenport Neck, to the County of Westchester.

 

On motion of Mr. Young, the following item was recommitted.
