The County Board of Legislators met pursuant to adjournment.
The Honorable George Latimer in the Chair.
The Chairman opened the meeting with a prayer, given by Vice Chair Lois Bronz, and the salute to our flag.

COMMUNICATION: COUNTY EXECUTIVE: Bond Act: Proposed Bond Act authorizing the issuance of up to $550,000 in bonds to cover the costs of acquisition of wireless communications equipment for a pilot/feasibility test involving the County bus system and the construction of a radio tower in the Town of Yorktown on County-owned property was on motion of Mr. Abinanti received, filed and referred to the Committee on Budget and Appropriations.
COMMUNICATION: COUNTY EXECUTIVE: Protection of County officials and employees called to active duty: Proposed Act to provide for certain salary and benefits protection for employees called up to active military duty was on motion of Mr. Abinanti received, filed and referred to the Committee on Budget and Appropriations and the Committee on County Officers and Departments.
COMMUNICATION: COUNTY EXECUTIVE: South Kensico Property Purchase: Proposed legislation authorizing the County to purchase and subsequently convey approximately 18,500 square feet of real property comprised of a single-family residence with commercial property located at 24 South Kensico Avenue in the City of White Plains for the propose of providing affordable housing was on motion of Mr. Abinanti received, filed and referred to the Committee on Budget and Appropriations and the Committee on Housing.

COMMITTEE ON BUDGET AND APPROPRIATIONS AND COMMITTEE ON HEALTH: WCHCC Agreement: ACT 202-2001: Authorizing the County, acting by and through the Department of Social Services, to enter into an agreement with the Westchester County Health Care Corporation for a term commencing September 1, 2001 through December 31, 2002 whereby the County will refer patients for provision of intensive in-home parent training to TANF eligible parents with intellectual disabilities who have children that are at risk of foster care placement.
