ACT 6-2001:  COMMITTEE ON BUDGET AND APPROPRIATIONS AND SPECIAL COMMITTEE ON HOUSING:  Mount Vernon Property Acquisition:  Authorizing the County to purchase real property located on 142-144 North Eighth Avenue in the City of Mount Vernon, consisting of approximately 5,000 square feet, for the purpose of providing affordable housing and convey said real property for the purpose of providing eleven units of affordable housing for a period of 40 years.
