LOCAL LAW INTRO 13-2000:  COMMITTEE ON BUDGET AND APPROPRIATIONS:  Early Retirement – WCC:  Approving a Resolution by the Westchester Community College Board of Trustees, dated June 21, 2000, electing to provide the benefits of a retirement incentive program pursuant to the provisions of Chapter 86 of the Laws of 2000 to eligible members of the New York State Employees’ Retirement System, New York State Teachers’ Retirement System and the Optional (TIAA-CREF) Retirement System.

 

          Mr. Wishnie presented the following Local Law and moved its adoption, which motion was declared carried by the following vote:

 

          AYE:  Legislators:  Abinanti, Noto, Bronz, Carsky, Kaplowitz, Maisano, Pinto, Ryan, Spreckman, Stewart-Cousins, Swanson, Wishnie, Young, Chairman-14.

LOCAL LAW INTRO.  14-2000:  COMMITTEE ON BUDGET AND APPROPRIATIONS:  Early Retirement – County:  In relation to electing a retirement incentive program for eligible County of Westchester employees (except Westchester Community College employees) pursuant to the provisions of Chapter 86 of the Laws of 2000.

 

          Mr. Wishnie presented the following Local Law and moved its adoption, which motion was declared carried by the following vote:

RESOLUTION 148-2000:  COMMITTEE ON LEGISLATION AND COMMITTEE ON PUBLIC SAFETY AND CRIMINAL JUSTICE:  Gun-Free School Zones:  Setting a Public Hearing on a proposed Local Law in relation to the creation of gun-free safety zones within seven hundred and fifty feet of every school in the County of Westchester.  [Public Hearing set for July 31, 2000 at 5:00 P.M.; Local Law Intro 18-2000]

 

          Mrs. Stewart-Cousins presented the following resolution and moved its adoption, which was declared adopted.
