ACT  143-2000:  COMMITTEE ON BUDGET AND APPROPRIATIONS:  E-911 Surcharge Funds:  Authorizing the expenditure of $4,970,767 in Enhanced 911 Surcharge Funds for the operation of the E-911 System in Westchester County.

 

          On motion of Mr. Maisano, seconded by Mrs. LaMotte, Act 143-2000 was TABLED 12-5 with Legislators Kaplowitz, Pinto, Ryan, Young and Latimer being recorded in the negative.

 


RESOLUTION 132-2000:  COMMITTEE ON BUDGET AND APPROPRIATIONS:  Early Retirement – WCC:  Setting a Public Hearing on a proposed Local Law approving a Resolution by the Westchester County Board of Trustees dated June 21, 2000, electing to provide the benefits of a retirement incentive program pursuant to the provisions of Chapter 86 of the Laws of 2000 to all eligible employees of the College who are members of the New York State Employees Retirement System, the New York State Teachers Retirement System and the Optional (TIAA-CREF) Retirement System.  [Public Hearing set for July 24, 2000 at 5:00 P.M.; Local Law Intro 13-2000]

RESOLUTION 134-2000:  COMMITTEE ON BUDGET AND APPROPRIATIONS AND COMMITTEE ON PUBLIC SAFETY AND CRIMINAL JUSTICE:  Municipal Domestic Preparedness Equipment Support Program:  Authorizing the County to accept $300,000 in federal funds from the U.S. Department of Justice as part of the County and Municipal Domestic Preparedness Equipment Support Program.

ACT 144-2OOO:   COMMITTEE ON BUDGET AND APPROPRIATIONS:  Capital Budget Amendment:  Amending the 2000 County Capital Budget by transferring funds from BPL09 New Homes Construction to BPL10 New Homes Land Acquisition.
