The County Board of Legislators met in Special Session.

The Honorable George Oros was in the Chair.

The Chairman opened the meeting with a prayer and salute to our flag.

The roll call resulted as follows:

Legislators: Latimer, Abinanti, Bronz, Carsky, Darcy, Delfino, Donovan, Mosiello, Stewart-Cousins, Swanson, Wishnie, Young, Chairman-13.

RESOLUTION 12-1997: COMMITTEE ON LEGISLATION: (HOME RULE REQUEST) URGING SUPPORT OF A.10, "AN ACT TO AMEND THE PUBLIC AUTHORITIES LAW IN RELATION TO THE CREATION OF THE WESTCHESTER COUNTY HEALTH CARE CORPORATION SYSTEM AND PROVIDING FOR THE RIGHTS, POWERS, DUTIES AND JURISDICTION OF SUCH CORPORATION".

On motion of Legislator Bronz, seconded by Legislator Swanson, Resolution 12-1997, was unanimously adopted.

RESOLUTION 13-1997: COMMITTEE ON LEGISLATION: (HOME RULE REQUEST): URGING SUPPORT OF S.593, "AN ACT TO AMEND THE PUBLIC AUTHORITIES LAW IN RELATION TO THE CREATION OF THE WESTCHESTER COUNTY HEALTH CARE CORPORATION SYSTEM AND PROVIDING FOR THE RIGHTS, POWERS, DUTIES AND JURISDICTION OF SUCH CORPORATION".

On motion of Legislator Swanson, seconded by Legislator Stewart-Cousins, Resolution 13-1997 was unanimously adopted.
