Vote by Absentee Ballot
- Who is eligible?
- If you will be out of Westchester County because of vacation, duties, business, occupation, or studies.
- If you are confined to home or a hospital or institution (other than mental) because of illness or physical disability.
- What to do? Follow a two-step procedure:

- Application for Absentee Ballot
Call the Westchester County Board of Elections, 25 Quarropas St: STE 1, White Plains, NY 10601-4208 at
(914)995-5700 and request an Application for Absentee Ballot. You can pick it up
there, have
it mailed to you, or download an Application here:
www.westchestergov.com/boe/Absentee_voting.htm.
If you return the completed Application for Absentee Ballot via mail, it must be received by the Board of Elections at least 7 days before election day. An official Absentee Ballot will then be mailed to you.
You may return the completed Application for Absentee Ballot in person at the Board of Elections until 5:00 PM of the day before the election. At that time you will be given the Absentee Ballot.

Return your completed Absentee Ballot to the Board of Election office,either
- in person , by the day of the election by 5:00 PM,
- or by mailing it, post-marked no later than midnight the day before
the election. It must be received up to 6 days after the election to be eligible to be counted.
