FRIENDS OF THE RESERVOIR

The Friends of the Reservoir is an organization whose purpose is to protect and improve the Larchmont Reservoir Conservancy as one of the great natural treasures of our area. We strive to make the Conservancy more valuable to the community for nature study and for quiet enjoyment. And we work with upstream communities to reduce flooding and pollution in the Sheldrake watershed, on which the Conservancy’s water depend. So, stop by and take a walk on the Cliff Emanuelson Trail. Pick up a new Walker’s Guide, which can be found in the little yellow “potting shed” on the property. The guide explains the numbered stops recently along the trail.
